| | So, I think for now I've decided not to get a new xanga. I just don't feel like messing with it.
A lot has happened since the last post. I finished year 3 of school. Thank GOD. Only 4 more quarters left until I'm DONE. It feels good to be officially a senior!
I started back full time at my internship. So far it's been pretty damn boring...but, I'm hoping things will pick up soon. If not, I just may go crazy. Either way, the good news is that, since I'm now a senior, I get a dollar on the hour raise. This excites me greatly.
William and I went down to Logan this weekend. We mostly just hung out at his mom's because Aaron was working pretty much the entire time we were there. It was still a nice visit though...we usually don't see too much of his mom while we're in...so, yea.
The way down there sucked it hard. I was driving William's car...and I was just driving along and all of a sudden, I see the car in front of me swerve. And, before I have time to react, I'm running over this huge fucking piece of tire that some semi left behind. To make a long story short, we end up pulling off in front of this porn shop on 35 (there was nowhere else nearby to pull off) and go to the back of the car...and half of his bumper is just dragging the ground. At this point I feel like the biggest piece of shit ever for damaging his not even 1 year old car. The next morning we find even more damage than we could see the night before and I feel even worse. So, I'm not sure how much damage I did to his car...but I feel like shit about it. He's not mad...b/c there wasn't really anything I could have done. The tired stretched across the whole lane, there was traffic coming the other way, and I was going too fast to swerve enough to miss it. So....FUCK.
The rest of the weekend was pretty good. Saturday we went to the park and took a long walk. It was good exercise but it was so fucking hot that we could barely breathe. We got all the way to the back of the park where the pool is, and thank god Judy pulled up (she was dropping his sister off at the pool) and gave us a ride back to the entrance to the park. We were both kinda tired and thirsty from the heat...and it was gonna be one hell of a long walk back. We drove back in to see how far we walked...and it was 1.7 miles. Normally, 1.7 miles wouldn't even phase me....but, in 90 degree weather and god only knows how high the humidity was, it was a little rough.
Some exciting things are planned for this summer. First, I am going to see Panic! At the Disco on July 6th. I've never seen them but I do enjoy their music immensely. Sometime late July my grandma and I are going to Memphis to visit Graceland...which will be kick ass. And, I'm still deciding on this one, but The Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth are playing a show in August and I may or may not be going. If I go, it will be more to hang out with my friends/William than anything else. I think Aaron and Kara may come up for the show as well.
Next week I start my history class at Columbus State. I'm thrilled. I just hope it isn't going to be much work...cuz I'm not in the mood for it at this point.
