| - Time to Dance
Holy shit...I have NO WORDS to describe how fucking AMAZING Panic! was tonight. They put on one hell of a show. If you have the chance to see them...I highly recommend it. They did covers of "Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead "Karma Police" and of course most of their stuff. They are a band that you can tell really enjoys getting on a stage and performing...a lot of bands are just boring. They are truly talented...they've got Cello, Banjo, Piano, and Xylophone, plus all the normal instruments. Plus, they have like burlesque style entertainers on stage a lot while they're performing. It had a very Moulin Rouge feel to it. It rocked the proverbial casbah.
This band called The Hush Sound played before them. I wasn't impressed. I hadn't heard any of their stuff before...but they sucked live. The next band was The Dresden Dolls. I was expecting to LOATHE them because I had several people tell me ahead of time that they would make me hate my life. But, I actually enjoyed them. They're very...weird...but still kinda cool. I intend to check out some of their recorded stuff to see if my enjoyment of them was just a fluke. The thing that sealed the deal for me with their performance was when they called Brandon from Panic! At the Disco out and began their rendition of Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time." The crowd erupted in laughter and eventually ended up dancing and singing along. It was horrific and terrific all at the same time...if that's possible.
So...my love for Panic! continues to grow. I can't wait for them to come out with some new stuff. Sadly, though, it is time for bed.

| I'm thinking of making a new xanga...I'm tired of this one. Does anybody know how to transfer all of my old posts from this one to the new one? Or is that even possible?

| My friend Katie has instructed me to update. And, for some strange reason, I actually feel motivated to do so.
A lot has happened in the past month or so. Most of it I don't care to recall...so, we'll just skip over it.
This week has been full of crap. 2 midterms does not make me happy...in any way. I met with my advisor on Tuesday to make sure I'm on the right track with my classes and to make sure that I'm taking stuff at the right time/in the best order. She, as I predicted, was of little to no help. Basically, I had to stop studying for my test an hour earlier to go meet with her. Ugh, if I have one complaint about OSU it's the shit quality of my academic advisor...if you even want to call her that. The next time I see her will probably be before I graduate. Anyway, I scheduled for next fall and I'll FINALLY be starting my major classes. It's been a long time coming. I'm taking my second history class at Columbus State this summer because it's cheaper and the class will be easier. So, when I start the fall of my senior year I will have 14 classes left to take. It's looking like I'll graduate Dec. 2007...or August 2007 if I choose to take summer classes.
Other than school...not much has been going on. I know...I'm SOOO interesting. I've just been spending time with my grandma. It's really hard for me to go to their house and him not be there anymore...but, it will just take time. I miss him terribly and there will never be another person in the world like him. He ALWAYS put everyone before himself...I wish I was that way.

EDIT: I just thought of something exciting I wanted to say...but forgot about earlier!!! This summer I'm going to take a week off of work and my grandma and I are going to drive to Memphis and go to Graceland!!!! (she's always wanted to go and just never made it) and probably some other stuff too. Then from Memphis we're going to drive to my dad's in Kansas and then come back home. I went to Graceland with my mom, aunt, and cousin when I was 12...and I've been obsessed with Elvis ever since. I'm just fascinated by his life for whatever reason. I've heard they've opened up more parts of the house so I'm excited to go back. It'll probably just take my already ridiculous obsession to an even more ridiculous level.

| I'm leaving for VEGAS in the morning!! I'm so excited. I haven't been on a real vacation in WAY too long. We're staying at New York New York. We leave tomorrow morning and get back Friday at midnight. (Or Saturday...whichever way you want to look at it.)
William and I went to WV this weekend. We mostly just hung out with Aaron and visited his mom and grandma. We got there Friday night at about 10 or so and we picked Aaron up and went to Giovanni's for some pizza goodness. Saturday we went up to his mom's and ended up going to dinner at Reno's and then decided we wanted to go see a movie in Logan's new movie theater. It's nice to be able to go to a movie when we go down there if we want. We met up with Aaron and Kara and saw Date Movie. (We only saw it because either we'd already seen most of the movies there, or had no interest in seeing the rest of them.) I didn't expect much from it...and, of course, not too much was delivered. There were some amusing parts...but, movies that have to try so hard to be funny, just aren't that funny to me. Oh well, it was something to do.
So, just thought I'd write a little update before I leave. I'll let you know how it was when I get back!
